Volcafe Costa Rica is the largest exporter in the country, accounting for 30-35% of all Costa Rican yearly exports. We have four wet mills located in all of the coffee-producing regions and one dry mill for exports.
All coffee is milled and then cupped on a daily basis with 100-400 cups cupped on a daily basis.
We export everything from undergrades to 90+ microlots.
Coffee flavour profile
- Varies depending on region
- Central and West Valley have a more round and balanced cup
- Tarrazu has a balanced cup with high acidity
